More About Me and My Work

The story of how I got into miniatures

I have been passionate about arts and crafts since an early age. Miniatures have always fascinated me, and growing up, my favorite hobby was playing with my collection of minis and creating stories for each of them.

But it wasn’t until 2020—inspired by an artist from Amsterdam and searching for ways to ease my pandemic-anxious mind—that I revisited my childhood passion for miniatures and began creating my own mini-universes.

The moment I sat down to build my first miniature house, I felt a deep sense of belonging and purpose. Creating dioramas connects me to my younger self—it’s when my breath slows, my heart calms, and nothing else matters. In those moments, I am fully immersed, completely present, and deeply connected to both my craft and my soul.

The materials I use to craft my pieces

My primary material is paper—specifically grey mount board—along with a wide range of other materials.

I love experimenting with different textures and elements to bring my pieces to life. Some of my favorite materials to work with include toothpicks, wire, wooden sticks, acetate, and raw cotton fabric.

To add a colorful touch and a matte finish to my pieces, I use acrylic ink, watercolor, and gouache paint. For an extra special effect, I sometimes incorporate earthy soft pastels, blending their textures to create depth and uniqueness in my work.
